Meet Your Trainer
Armed with vast training experiences, Emily Wong has trained various organisations in Design Thinking. For over three years, she has been an associate trainer with the Civil Service College, training public officers in Government procurement policies and specifications writing. She also conducts team-bonding activities for organisations with emphasis on values such as teamwork, mindfulness, organisation values, communications and negotiation skills.
Emily has thirty years' working experience in various government agencies in the areas of procurement and project management. She has led teams to foreign government agencies and overseas senior management engagement in countries such as US, UK, Switzerland, Sweden, Australia, and Israel. As a result, she has extensive exposure to various cultures.
Emily has represented Singapore in various negotiation and mediation situations, achieving the best possible outcomes in these engagements. Under her charge, she has developed her staff in management skills and job competencies. With her diligence and intelligence, she rose through the ranks to become the Head of Procurement in DSTA and the Ministry of Defence.
Emily is an ACTA certified trainer and achieved the Statement of Achievement in Project Management Professional and WSQ in Implementing Design Thinking. She is also a Ministry of Education registered trainer.
Emily is a walking encyclopedia in procurement matters and she is a formidable asset to any team that she is a part of.
